Diana Maritza Segura Angel

Bachelor in Physics with specialization in Relativity and Mathematics from the Institute of Physics of Universidad Pedagógica Nacional - UPN (2010). She has a master's degree in Energy from Universidade Federal do ABC - UFABC (2014) in the area of Domiciliary Photovoltaic Systems of small-grid applied to rural electrification and PhD in Sciences in the Mechanical Engineering Program, specializing in Thermo-Sciences and Fluid Mechanics. She carried out her experimental research at Tongaat Hulett company in South Africa in 2016 and 2017. She is developing projects for improving the industrial process of extraction of sucrose from a sugarcane by diffusion and articulates her academic knowledge with the experimental knowledge to apply them to the industrial process. Her primary areas of interest include conversion, and utilization of renewable energy, energy efficiency; thermodynamic and fluid mechanics.
