PhD in Applied Microbiology and Parasitology, Biomedical Institute, Fluminense Federal University, Niterói (Capes Scholarship), with a 9 month period at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, USA, focusing on parasitology and paleoparasitological studies (CNPq scholarship). During the sandwich PhD was supervised by Dr. Karl Reinhard and besides the research in paleoparasitology, classes such as archaeoparasitology and taphonomy were taught. Concluded the masters in 2012 at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, USA; concentration area: parasitology, supervised by Dr. Scott Gardner and worked with the identification of ectoparasites in bolivian rodents. Has a bachelor´s and license to teach degree in Biological Sciences at Universidade Santa Úrsula (RJ, 2009). Currently works with: paleoparasitology, ectoparasites, general parasitology and molecular biology.
Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Santa Úrsula (2009), mestrado em Parasitologia - University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2012) e doutorado em Microbiologia e Parasitologia pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (2019). Tem experiência na área de Parasitologia, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: paleoparasitologia, ectoparasitos, parasitologia geral, e biologia molecular.
