Luiz Alves dos Santos Neto

Bachelor degree in Meteorology by the Federal University of Pará (2004), M.Sc. and PhD degrees in Regional Development and Environment from the Federal University of Rondônia (2014/2021). Actually I'm a Meteorologist and Analyst in Science and Technology in the Manegement and Operational Center of the Amazon Protection System - Porto Velho Regional Center (CENSIPAM-CR/PV). I have experience in Meteorology, with an emphasis on Climatology, Environment, Meteorological Instrumentation, Weather Radar, Weather and Climate Forecast, Hydrometeorology, Hydrological Modeling and Artificial Neural Networks.

Possui graduação em Meteorologia pela Universidade Federal do Pará (2004), mestrado e doutorado em Desenvolvimento Regional e Meio-Ambiente pela Universidade Federal de Rondônia (2014/2021). Atualmente é Meteorologista e Analista em Ciência e Tecnologia do Centro Gestor e Operacional do Sistema de Proteção da Amazônia-Centro Regional de Porto Velho (CENSIPAM-CR/PV). Tem experiência na área de Meteorologia, com ênfase em Climatologia, Meio Ambiente, Instrumentação Meteorológica, Radar Meteorológico, Previsão de Tempo e Clima, Hidrometeorologia, Modelagem Hidrológica e Redes Neurais Artificiais.
