Manuel Gomes Correia

Graduated on Geological engineering from Aveiro University (Portugal) with a PhD on Petroleum Engineering from State University of Campinas (Brazil). Actually, i am a geoengineering researcher with skills in geosciences, reservoir geoengineering and numerical simulation and in charge of develop benchmark cases (e.g., UNISIM-II and UNISIM-III), widely used in academy and industry. I have more than thirty (30) publications in international journals and conferences focusing on 3D Geological Modelling, Uncertainty Analysis, Upscaling Procedures, Numerical Simulation. Over the years, I developed strong teamwork skills with excellent experience on technical reports for companies (Shell and Petrobras) and events presentations. Above this, I have some experience teaching courses for Industry and University classes. Currently i am participating as a researcher in a Shell project with focus on geomodelling.
