Bruno Horta Liza

Bruno has a B.A in English from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1998), an M.A in Applied Linguistics (2005) and an specialisation course in Computer-mediated language teaching from the same institution. He's a CEELT, ICELT, Delta and Train the Trainer certificates holder. He has worked for several language institutes and also in high schools. He is currently and English teacher and IT academic coordinator at Cultura Inglesa Belo Horizonte, where he?s also a CELTA tutor and a speaking examiner for Cambridge and Michigan proficiency tests. He?s also responsible for a course on English Phonetics and Phonology for teachers. He is a British Council certified e-tutor. He has experience in Linguistics, focusing on Applied Linguistics, acting on the following subjects: EFL teaching, new technologies, distance learning, teacher development and phonetics and phonology.

Possui graduação em Letras pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1998), é mestre em Linguística Aplicada (2005) e especialista em Ensino de Línguas Mediado por computador (2016) pela mesma instituição. Possui as certificações CEELT, ICELT, Delta and Train the Trainer. Atuou em vários cursos de idioma e também no Ensino Médio. Atualmente é professor de inglês e coordenador acadêmico de tecnologias da Cultura Inglesa Belo Horizonte. É também tutor de CELTA, speaking examiner dos exames de Proficiência da Universidade de Cambridge e Michigan e atua como professor de Fonética e Fonologia para professores de inglês. É e-tutor certificado pelo British Council. Tem experiência na área de Lingüística, com ênfase em Lingüística Aplicada, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: ensino de língua inglesa, novas tecnologias para o ensino de idiomas, educação a distância, formação de professores e fonética e fonologia.
