Camila Gomes Sant`Anna

Camila Gomes SantAnna is an architect, with specializations in Landscape Architecture. She is a professor in this field at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) in Brazil and also a Cultural Director at Brazilian Landscape Association (ABAP). In recent years, she has been trying to develop a landscape planning and design process which provides an open channel for communication with students and stakeholders. She concluded her PhD at the University of Brasília (Brazil) on green infrastructure and its contribution to City Landscape design. She was a Visiting Research Fellow at the School of Environment, Education and Development at University of Manchester, researching The green infrastructure as a tool of landscape planning and design", with Professor Ian Mell (SEED- UoM).She has always been curious to access multiple points of view on the theory and practice of Landscape Architecture. Also, very dedicated in building networks worldwide to share knowledge and experiences.

Doutora em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela Universidade de Brasília, com a tese intitulada: A infraestrutura verde e sua contribuição para o desenho da paisagem da cidade (2020). Doutorado sanduíche na University of Manchester, financiado pelo CNPq (2019). Mestrado em Théories et Démarches du Projet de Paysage pela École Nationale Supérieure d' Architecture de Versailles École Nationale Supérieure de Paysage Versailles, ENSPV, França (2009). Em Geografia Humana pela Université Paris Diderot. Arquiteta e Urbanista pela Universidade de São Paulo (2007). Professora da Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade Federal da Bahia. É vice-líder do Grupo de Pesquisa Geopoética no Projeto de Pesquisa: Paisagens em Movimento (UNEB). Também é Diretora Cultural da Associação Brasileira de Arquitetos da Paisagem (ABAP). Realizou visitas à Itália (Politécnico di Torino), à Inglaterra (University of Manchester), à Espanha (Politécnico di Madri), à Bélgica (KULeuven) e ao Uruguai (Universidad De La Republica) e participou de vários seminários, conferências e workshops sobre os temas de mudança climática, planejamento e projeto da paisagem, infraestrutura verde e SbN.
