Weber Cláudio Francisco Nunes da Silva

He has degrees in Pharmacy-Biochemistry from the University of São Paulo (2002), and Computer Science from the State University of Centre-West of Paraná (2020), Master's in Biochemistry (2005), and Ph.D. in Medicine (2010) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, both made under the advisoring of Professor Iván Izquierdo. He is currently advisor professor for master's and doctoral degrees in Physiology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, for professional master's degree in Intellectual Property at the Midwestern State University, and associate professor A at the State University of Centre-West of Paraná. He is the first secretary in the Association of Studies, Research, and Support to the Alzheimer Patient (AEPAPA). He collaborates with the Institute for Cancer Research in Guarapuava (IPEC-Guarapuava) and the New Arrangement for Research and Innovation in Genomics (NAPI-Genomics). Has experience in Physiology and Pharmacology, emphasizing Neurophysiology and Neuropsychopharmacology, working mainly on the following topics: hippocampus, Alzheimer's disease, neuroprotection, spatial memory, and neuroinflammation.

Possui graduação em Farmácia-Bioquímica pela Universidade de São Paulo (2002) e em Ciência da Computação pela Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste (2020), mestrado em Bioquímica (2005) e doutorado em Medicina (2010) pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, ambos feitos sob orientação do Professor Iván Izquierdo. Atualmente é professor orientador de mestrado e doutorado em Fisiologia na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul e de mestrado profissionalizante em Propriedade Intelectual na Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste, e professor associado A na Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste. É primeiro secretário na Associação de Estudos, Pesquisa e Apoio ao Paciente com Alzheimer (AEPAPA). Pesquisador colaborador junto ao Instituto para Pesquisa do Câncer em Guarapuava (IPEC-Guarapuava) e ao Novo Arranjo de Pesquisa e Inovação em Genômica (NAPI-Genômica). Tem experiência nas áreas de Fisiologia e Farmacologia, com ênfases em Neurofisiologia e Neuropsicofarmacologia, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: hipocampo, doença de Alzheimer, neuroproteção, memória espacial e neuroinflamação.
