Possui graduação em special education - University Of Haifa (1982), mestrado em special education - University Of Haifa (1985) e doutorado em anthropology - Ben Gurion University Of The Negev (1995). last é external teacher - Ruppin academic college. Tem experiência na área de Antropologia, com ênfase em applied anthropology, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: applied anthropology, Ethiopian jews, folk veneration of saints, tunisian women in israel, bnei annusim and other emerging jewish communities e immigration and integration. Today working as applied anthropologist at the ministry of education, the department for the education of children and youth at risk. especially with arabs, orthodox jews and new immigrants and the department for immigrants pupils. this year, teaching in ono academic college a seminar on "judaism in africa". i the last three years workin with the beta israel community in Ethiopia, and currently compliting two documentary films.
