Louis Ventura
Dr. Louis Ventura received a PH.D. in Management from Maharishi University of Management, Fairfield, Iowa, where he chairs the Institute of Sustainable Economy (www.selforganizingsystems.org) and maintains a research work, lectures and courses on sustainable systems, education and entrepreneurship for community governance. Dr. Ventura is a member of the IREO- Intergovernmental Renewable Energy Organization Permanent Advisory Commission (www.ireoigo.org ). He is also currently "Chief Economist" of the "Brazilian Endowment for the Arts" in New York (www.brazilianendowment.org ), Director of the Institute of Sustainable Economy in Iowa/USA and director of the IREO-Intergovernmental Renewable Energy Organization Permanent Advisory Commission. With experience in the field of Economics and administration of natural resources, and emphasis on research of economic indicators of sustainability of natural resources, Dr. Ventura studies topics linked to community governance and sustainability in the management of natural resources. These studies are geared towards the research of economic indicators that identify sustainable processes of these systems.
