Since March 2002 in Teaching Hospital, Irmandade da Santa Casa de São Paulo, as medical assistant of Internal Medicine Emergency. Experience as healthcare administrator since 2004, assuming responsibility for managing clinical operations, connecting administration and medical teams and ensuring the highest standard of care for patients in two primary public hospitals in São Paulo (Hospital Estadual Vila Alpina and Estadual Sapopemba).
From 2004 to 2012 promoted to Director of Santa Casa de São Paulo Infection Control Service, leading cross-departmental projects and reporting to the CEO.
In 2013, promoted to Director of Internal Medicine Department, responsible for developing and managing department budgets; recruiting and mentoring physicians; assuming responsibility for performance management of supervised physicians. Key focus areas are: ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards; keeping staff updated; leading innovative ways to improve clinical services; liaising between administration and medical staff while balancing the conflicting priorities of the stakeholders.
In 2014, promoted to CEO of the institution, following the financial distress of the institution on the verge of bankruptcy. The role represented a key management experience, as it encompassed full accountability over management of the largest philanthropic hospital in Latin America. While achieving financial turnaround in 13 months, I had the opportunity to participate in projects with government of São Paulo, approved by the Secretary of Health. I have always guided my work in four pillars: teaching, administrative management, medical assistance and research. Alongside various awards and academic titles, I achieved the higher collegiate of Santa Casa School of Medicine.
In September 2015, I felt it was my mission to inspire others to learning innovation in my hospital and academy. To pursue my ambition, I founded startups focus on patient engagement and social impact.
Since 2018, COO of EZVIDA, a health-tech that provides epidemiologic intelligence and predictive modeling, offering broad possibilities for analysis and fast insight generation to enable timely and assertive decision-making for better companies? results. EZVIDA contributes to increase satisfaction and productivity of workers in companies by reducing absences caused by factors associated with collaborator?s health.
In 2019, founder of Ionmedicine, a laboratory that investigates metabolomics as a diagnostic option of relevant clinical disorders through quantification and identification of final products of the metabolism and biological system to obtain predictive, precise and personalized results.
