BSc in Physics (1987), PhD in Electrical Enginering (2003), Habilitation (Livre-Docência) in Computer Engineering (2011), all at the University of São Paulo. Currently Assistant Professor University of Washington Tacoma. Research interests and activity in Computer Engineering, with emphasis on Cryptology and Information Security. Most often subjects of research publications: elliptic curve cryptography, pairing-based cryptography, cryptographic hash functions, block ciphers, post-quantum cryptography, coding-based cryptography, lattice-based cryptography, isogeny-based cryptography.
