Ana Christina Sagebin Albuquerque

Ana Christina Sagebin Albuquerque is an agronomist and is currently a researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa), acting since 2011 as Director of Research and Development at Embrapa Wheat and, by 2010, as Coordinator of Integration and Articulation in R&D at Embrapa's Department of Research and Development. She has experience in Agronomy, with emphasis on Genetic Resources of Small Grain Cereals, acting mainly on the following topics: small grains cereals, wheat, genetic breeding, plant genetic resources, resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses and technological (industrial) quality.

Engenheiro agrônomo, atualmente é pesquisador da Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (Embrapa) atuando, desde 2011, como Chefe de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento da Embrapa Trigo e, até 2011, como Chefe da Coordenadoria de Integração e Articulação em P&D no Departamento de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento (DPD) da Embrapa.Tem experiência na área de Agronomia, com ênfase em Recursos Genéticos de Cereais de Inverno, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: cereais de inverno, trigo, melhoramento genético, recursos genéticos, resistência a estresses bióticos e abióticos e qualidade tecnológica.
