MARCIO LUIS ANDRADE AND SILVA, PhD graduated with a doctorate in Sciences from the Faculty of Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto USP in 1999. He completed post-doctoral training at the Pharmacognosy Laboratory of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto USP from 2011 to 2012. He is currently member of the University of Franca as Professor Researcher in RDIDP regime. He has published 143 articles in specialized journals and 185 papers in annals of events. He participated in the development of 15 technological products. Participated in 9 events abroad and 24 in Brazil. He directed 22 Master's Dissertations and 4 Doctoral Theses. At present, he has three doctorates and two master's degrees, in addition to having supervised 20 scientific initiation works and 7 graduation papers in the areas of Pharmacy, Chemistry and Collective Health. Supervised 3 post-doctoral stages, 2 with FAPESP scholarship and 1 with CNPq scholarship. Received 4 awards and / or homage. Already coordinated 8 research projects. One of them being PITE JP / FAPESP / Unifran of technological innovation in partnership with company with the aim of developing two drugs against neglected Chagas and schistosomiasis diseases. Participates in the project "Natural Products from Brazilian Marine Ascidians for Tropical Neglected Diseases, Science without Borders recently approved by CNPq. He works in the area of Chemistry of Natural Products and Pharmacy, with emphasis on synthesis, isolation and biological activity of lignans and neolignans, as well as obtaining nanoparticle formulations. He participates as a collaborating professor of the Thematic Project FAPESP USP / Unifran. In his professional activities, he interacted with over 200 collaborators in co-authoring of scientific works. He has been Vice-coordinator of the Graduate Program in Sciences (Master's and Doctorate) for 3 terms, now a member of the Institutional Evaluation Committee of PIBIC Scholarships, PIBITI and PIBIC-EM of the University of Franca and Coordinator of the Institutional Scholarship Program of CNPq PIBITI. It has passed the patent against Erectile Dysfunction in the USA, Japan and Europe. Licensed the Contra Contra patent for the companies Vlli Farm Mercantil and NPA for the production of medicine against DE. Established a partnership with the company Fauna & Flora, Syrian-Lebanese Institute for Teaching and Research and Ekobè do Brasil as a scientific consultant. Leader of the CNPq Group Search for new Drugs from Natural Sources.
