Desenvolve medicamentos e produtos para saúde, possuindo experiencia em Acordos de Cooperação Técnica e Transferência de Tecnologia entre Universidade-Empresa. Sócia Co-Fundadora das Startups GumLife, IP-TREE e Outlier. Possui diversas patentes, dentre estas uma já licenciada e outra em processo de licenciamento. Professor of Federal University of Pernambuco Pharmacy School (UFPE) (2011 - Present). Permanent member of the Graduate Program in Therapeutic Innovation (PPGIT - UFPE) (2012-Present); Researcher at the Center of Quality Control of Medicines and Correlates (NCQMC - UFPE) (2011-Present) and Vice-Leader of the Research Group "Quality Control in the Monitoring, Pharmaceutical Development and Innovation", registered at CNPq since 2012. Has doctorate (UFPE) (2011) and master (UFPE) (2007) in Production and Control of Medicines, subarea of Pharmaceutical Sciences, both developed in partnership with Pharmaceutical Industries, and graduate in Industrial Pharmacy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (PUCCAMP) (2005). Works in the area of Pharmaceutical Technology and has operations focused on technological development. Has six (06) patents, two of which (02), appeared on with the private sector, are in marketing. Participated in the development team of several pharmaceutical products registered with ANVISA. Was Professor, School of Pharmacy, Federal University of Piauí (2008-2011) and a member of the staff of the National Pharmaceutical Industry (2005-2008). Acts within the Pharmacy with a focus on Technology and Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology, the main lines of research: drug delivery systems, development of new materials / functional excipients for drug delivery, stability of drugs and medicines, indicative analytical methods of stability. Currently participates as a member of the international cooperation project between UFPE and the University of Coimbra (Portugal) for the development of systems of oral insulin release supported by CNPq.
