Occupational therapist, Ph.D. in Health Sciences at the University of São Paulo with the theme "Happiness and realization of pleasant activities by elderly." She carried a research internship at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences at the University of Porto with funding by CAPES. Master of Community Health by the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto USP, with the study of occupational performance with elderly people with depressive symptoms. Specialized in Occupational Therapy in Hospital Context by the University of Sao Paulo and in Dynamic Occupational Therapy Method by the Center of Specialties in Occupational Therapy (CETO). Professor at the Department of Occupational Therapy of the Federal University of São Carlos, for the areas of occupational therapy in gerontology and occupational therapy in the hospital context. She has clinical experience in the care of adults and elderly in outpatient settings, long-standing institutions, and patients and family members in critical health conditions during Hospitalization. It acts in the themes: Mental health, happiness, elderly, hospitalization and palliative care.

Realizou doutorado sanduíche na Faculdade de Psicologia e Ciências da Educação da Universidade do Porto- Portugal. Mestre em Saúde da Comunidade pela Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto USP, com estudo sobre o Desempenho Ocupacional com Idosos com Sintomas Depressivos. Especializada em Terapia Ocupacional Hospitalar pela Universidade de São Paulo e no Método Terapia Ocupacional Dinâmica pelo Centro de Especialidades em Terapia Ocupacional - CETO. Professora pelo Departamento de Terapia Ocupacional da Universidade Federal de São Carlos, pelas áreas de Terapia Ocupacional em Gerontologia e Terapia Ocupacional em Contextos Hospitalares. Possui experiência clínica no atendimento à idosos, adultos e famílias em ambulatórios, instituições de longa permanência para idosos e hospitais (enfermarias e unidades de terapia Intensiva). Atua nos temas: Saúde Mental, Idosos, Felicidade, Hospitalização e Cuidados Paliativos.
