She is an associate physiotherapist professor IV in the Department of Physiotherapy (DPRF) at the Federal University of Paraná, working on the Undergraduate Course in Physiotherapy, since April 2006. She currently participates as a professor in the Graduate Program in Physical Education at UFPR in the research line of "Physical Activity and Health". He has a degree in Physical Education from the Federal University of Paraná (1987), a degree in Physiotherapy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (1984), a master's degree in Special Education from the Federal University of São Carlos (1993) and a doctorate in Special Education from the Federal University of São Carlos (2000). She held a post-doctoral internship between 2012 and 2013 in the Graduate Program for Development and Environment (PRODEMA) at the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS), studying interfaces between planning, profession, health and environmental education; the research developed covered the theme "Characterization of the performance of physiotherapists in thermal hydrotherapy: use of integrative health practices". She has experience in the field of Physiotherapy, with an emphasis on Aquatic Physiotherapy and Special Education, acting mainly on the following topics: Aquatic Physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, assessment in Physiotherapy, profession, human development, neurofunctional and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Quality of Life and Functionality. He has carried out research involving Aquatic Physiotherapy, Hydrothermalism (as an integrative health practice), Health and Education in different life cycles, Early stimulation in childhood, International Classification of Functionality and Human Health, Aquatic Physiotherapy in Babies and in Parkinson's disease. Coordinator of the Laboratory of Health and Human Functionality - ?Alegria em Movimento? (LAM-SF / DPRF / UFPR).
É docente fisioterapeuta Titular (desde, maio 2022) do Departamento de Fisioterapia (DPRF) da Universidade Federal do Paraná, atuando no Curso de Graduação em Fisioterapia, desde abril de 2006. Participa desde 2007 como docente no Programa de Pós Graduação em Educação Física da UFPR na linha de pesquisa de "Atividade Física e Saúde". Possui graduação em Educação Física pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (1987), graduação em Fisioterapia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (1984), mestrado em Educação Especial pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos (1993) e doutorado em Educação Especial pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos (2000). Trabalhou por 20 anos na PUCPR (saiu como Professora Titular - conquistado em 2002), atuando na graduação em Fisioterapia; especializações da área, e no Programa de Pós Graduação em Tecnologia em Saúde. Realizou estágio pós doutoral entre 2012 e 2013 no Programa de Pós Graduação de Desenvolvimento e Meio Ambiente (PRODEMA) da Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS), estudando interfaces entre planejamento, profissão, saúde e educação ambiental. Tem experiência na área de Fisioterapia, com ênfase em Fisioterapia Aquática e Educação Especial. Atua hoje como docente e pesquisadora pela UFPR em: Fisioterapia Aquática (Hidroterapia, Hidrotermalismo); Avaliação e Profissão de Fisioterapia; Fisioterapia neurofuncional e músculoesquelética, Qualidade de Vida e Funcionalidade (Classificação Internacional da Funcionalidade e Saúde Humana). Coordenadora do Laboratório de Saúde e Funcionalidade Humana ? ?Alegria em Movimento? (LAM-SF/DPRF/UFPR). Atualmente realizando pós doutorado no Instituto Politécnico de Bragança (IPB) , Aquavalor- Colab, campus da Água , na cidade de Chaves, em Portugal (fevereiro/2023 a janeiro/2024).
