Dalton de Oliveira Ferreira

Agronomist Engineer graduated from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), Master and Doctor in Genetics and Breeding from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV) and Technologist in Small and Medium Enterprises Administration from the Northern University of Paraná (UNOPAR). During graduation, he participated in the Science Without Borders Program (CsF) by CNPq at Michigan State University (MSU), United States. At this same institution, he was a visiting student and attended the Graduate courses of the College of Natural Science / Molecular Plant Sciences. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Coffee Biotechnology Laboratory at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). He has experience in the field of Agronomy, Plant Science, Breeding and Molecular Biology. He works mainly on the following topics: Plant production; Plant breeding; Plant breeding for abiotic and biotic stress conditions; Molecular Genetics of Plants.

Engenheiro Agrônomo graduado pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV), Mestre e Doutor em Genética e Melhoramento pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV) e Tecnólogo em Administração de pequenas e médias empresas pela Universidade Norte do Paraná (UNOPAR). Durante a graduação participou do programa Ciências Sem Fronteiras (CsF) financiado pelo CNPq na Michigan State University (MSU), Estados Unidos. Nesta mesma instituição, foi estudante visitante e cursou as disciplinas da Pós-graduação do College of Natural Science/Molecular Plant Sciences. Atualmente é pós-doutorando no Laboratório de Biotecnologia do Cafeeiro na Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV). Possui experiência na área de Agronomia, Fitotecnia, Melhoramento e Biologia Molecular. Atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: Produção vegetal; Melhoramento vegetal; Melhoramento de plantas para condições de estresses abióticos e bióticos; Genética Molecular de Plantas.
