Circe Mary Silva da Silva Dynnikov

Possui graduação em Matemática pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (1974), mestrado em Matemática pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (1979) e doutorado em Pedagogia - Universität Bielefeld (1991). Atualmente é professora do mestrado em Educação Matemática da Universidade Federal de Pelotas. É membro do Grupo Brasileiro de Pesquisas em História da Educação Matemática (GHEMAT). Suas pesquisas centram-se na História da Matemática, na História da Educação Matemática e na Educação Escolar Indígena.

She holds a degree in Mathematics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (1974), a Masters in Mathematics from the Fluminense Federal University (1979) and a PhD in Pedagogy - Universitat Bielefeld (1991). She is a retired professor at the Federal University of Espírito Santo. She is currently a professor of mathematics education at the Federal University of Pelotas, a volunteer professor in the Masters in Mathematics teaching at the University of São Paulo. She works as a visiting researcher at CNPq at the Federal University of Pelotas. She has experience in Education, with emphasis on Teaching-Learning, mainly researching in the following subjects: history of mathematics, textbook, teacher training, teaching of mathematics in Brazil and teaching-learning of mathematics. He is a member of GHEMAT.
