Raul Moreira Neto

Raul Moreira Neto graduated Doctor in 1997 at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). He took his specialization in Ultrasound in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil, between 1999 and 2001. In 2001 became Specialist in Ultrasound in Internal Medicine and Ultrasound in Gynecology / Obstetrics, of the Brazilian Society of Ultrasound. In 2002 obtained the title of Specialist in Ultrasound by the Brazilian College of Radiology and the Brazilian Medical Association. In 2012 got specialized in Distance Learning at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). In 2013, he became Specialist in fetal behavior, and was the first Brazilian to get the Kurjak`s Antenatal Neurodevelopmental Test (Kanet) Diploma, in Dubai, UAE. In 2014 obtained the title of Master in Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Dubrovnik in Croatia, where he worked with Prof. Asim Kurjak. Holds a Master's degree in Medicine in 2015, in the area of ​​ultrasound (Using the Power Doppler 3D in the Diagnosis of Preeclampsia). Also in 2015 became director of Ian Donald School in Brazil (World School of Ultrasound). He is currently Director of Ecomoinhos, Clinic of Ultrasound and Fetal Medicine, located in Porto Alegre, Brazil. He is the creator and assistant professor at the School of Ultrasound Gaucha. He features 64 presentations, table coordinations and Hands-on in Congresses in Brazil and abroad. It has 2 books (How to Describe Cyst and Nodules in Ultrasound, Atlas of Ultrasound and Pregnancy Guide) and 5 book chapters published in the ultrasound area. Member of the Brazilian Society of Ultrasound, Brazilian College of Radiology and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.

Raul Moreira Neto graduou-se Médico em 1997 na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Fez a sua especialização em Ultrassonografia em Ribeirão Preto, SP, entre 1999 e 2001. Em 2001 conquistou o Título de Especialista em Ultrassonografia em Medicina Interna e em Gineco/obstetrícia pela Sociedade Brasileira de Ultrassonografia. Já em 2002 obteve Título de Especialista em Ultrassonografia pelo Colégio Brasileiro de Radiologia e Associação Médica Brasileira. Em 2012 especializou-se em Ensino a Distância, na PUC/RS. Em 2013, tornou-se especialista em comportamento fetal, sendo o primeiro sul-americano a obter o diploma do Kurjak`s Antenatal Neurodevelopmental Test (KANET), em Dubai, EAU. Em 2014 obteve o título de Master in Ultrasound in Gynecology and Obstetrics, pela Universidade de Dubrovnik, na Croácia. Obteve o título de Mestre em Medicina em 2015, na área de Ultrassonografia (Uso do Power Doppler 3D no diagnóstico de pré-eclâmpsia) pela UFRGS. Também em 2015 tornou-se diretor da Ian Donald School no Brasil (Escola Mundial de Ultrassonografia). Em 2020 terminou Doutorado pela UFRGS (Complexo miointimal da carótida e pré-eclâmpsia). Atualmente trabalha como ultrassonografista geral na Unimed Porto Alegre e é professor de Ultrassonografia da Mais Med, falculdade médica. Possui mais de 100 apresentações, coordenações de mesa, aulas ministradas e Hands-on em Congressos no Brasil e no Exterior. Possui 3 livros publicados em Português na área de ultrassom (Atlas de Ultrassonografia, Como Descrever Lesões em Ultrassonografia e Guia da Gestação) e 1 livro em espanhol (Atlas de ultrasonografia), alem de 7 capítulos de livros e mais de 20 artigos publicados na área.
