Alison Andrei Schmatz

Biologist at State University of the Central West (UNICENTRO), Guarapuava - PR, Master's degree in Bioenergy and renewable energies, with emphasis on biofuels, from State University of Ponta Grossa - UEPG, Ponta Grossa - PR. PhD in Applied Microbiology, from São Paulo State University - UNESP, Rio Claro - SP. Acted with production and activity of hydrolytic enzymes produced by filamentous fungi from the Atlantic Forest. Worked with production and physical-chemical characterization of canola oil and biodiesel, grown in the city of Tibagi - PR. Developed research on acid and organosolv pretreatment of lignocellulosic biomass (sugarcane bagasse). Has experience in enzymatic hydrolysis and simultaneous saccharification and fermentation (SSF). Interested in the areas of renewable energy from plant biomass, biofuels and bioenergy.
