Farney Aurélio Alcântara

Engenheiro civil sênior formado pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), Mestrando em Engenharia de Transporte pela UFMG, especialização em progresso em Infraestrutura de Transportes Utilizando a Metodologia BIM pela Escola Brasileira de Pós-Graduação (EBPOS). Atualmente, ocupa os cargos de Sócio-Diretor e coordenador técnico da empresa Lanix Engenharia Consultiva, possui aproximadamente 15 anos de experiência na engenharia de transporte com conhecimentos na área de simulação de tráfego, projetos de geometria, terraplenagem, sinalização e novas tecnologias aplicadas à engenharia civil e transporte. Na docência, atua como pesquisador independente, com diversos artigos nacionais e internacionais publicados, é ex-professor no CEFET-MG nos cursos de estradas e trânsito e atualmente é professor da Pós-Graduação de Engenharia Rodoviária nas disciplinas de Topografia e Projeto Geométrico em BIM, Projeto de Terraplenagem em BIM, Máquinas e Equipamentos e Projeto de Sinalização em BIM, Segurança Viária e iRAP.

Senior civil engineer graduated from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Masters student in Transportation Engineering at UFMG, specialization in progress in Transportation Infrastructure Using the BIM Methodology by the Brazilian School of Post-Graduation (EBPOS). Currently, he holds the positions of Partner-Director and technical coordinator of the company Lanix Engineering Consulting, has approximately 15 years of experience in transportation engineering with knowledge in the area of traffic simulation, geometry projects, earthworks, signaling and new technologies applied to civil engineering and transportation. In teaching, he acts as an independent researcher, with several national and international articles published, he is a former professor at CEFET-MG in the courses of roads and traffic and currently he is a professor of the Post-Graduation in Road Engineering in the disciplines of Topography and Geometric Project in BIM, Earthwork Project in BIM, Machines and Equipment and Signaling Project in BIM, Road Safety and iRAP.
