Graduated in Pharmacy with emphasis on food, drugs and cosmetics from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Federal University of Minas Gerais UFMG. Master's in Biological Sciences, concentration area in Physiology/Biophysics and Pharmacology (CAPES 7 concept) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais UFMG. PhD in biological sciences, area of concentration in Physiology/Biophysics and Pharmacology (CAPES 7 concept) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais UFMG in partnership with the University of São Paulo EPM and the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine ? Berlin Germany. Post-Doctorate Federal University of Minas Gerais UFMG, Brazil. Working with transgenic animals and knockouts and receptors, kallikrein and bradykinin. She is currently a professor at the Faculdade de Minas FAMINAS BH, the Centro Universitário UNA, and Centro Universitário de Belo Horizonte UNIBH. She has experience in the field of Pharmacology of theoretical and practical systems in clinical medicine and in Integrative Practices, working mainly on the following topics: pharmacological treatment, drug action mechanism, and drug interaction, pain, melatonin, tribulus terrestris and integrative medicine. Possui doutorado em Ciências Biológicas (Fisiologia e Farmacologia) pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2001). Atualmente é professora Titular da FAMINAS BH. Tem experiência na área de educação em cursos da área de saúde como Medicina, Farmácia Biomedicina e odontologia. Interesse em Praticas integrativas, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: ações farmacológicas, terapêutica farmacológica,fitoterapia, homeopatia e dor.
