Atuando no Hospital Universitário Clementino Fraga Filho (UFRJ), possui experiência nas áreas de tratamento endovascular de aneurismas cerebrais, malformação arteriovenosas cerebrais, fístulas e AVC. Mestrado em 2010 pela UFRJ com tese entitulada "Tratamento endovascular dos aneurismas micóticos cerebrais". Doutorado em 2012 pela UFRJ com tese entitulada "Embolização de aneurismas cerebrais com auxílio de prótese vascular intracraniana Neuroform"
