Jacy Soares Corrêa Neto

Doctorate in progress and Master (2018) in Architecture, Technology and City from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Urbanism at Unicamp. Specialist in Building Information Modeling (2022) and Geoprocessing (2019) by PUCMinas. Bachelor in Architecture and Urbanism from UNIFAP (2015) with academic exchange at Universitat Rovira i Virgilli (2013 - Spain) and degree in Geography from UNESA (2023). He has experience in drawing up master plans, teaching in vocational technical education and higher education. Acts in teaching, research and extension in the areas of Architecture and Urbanism, Geography, Civil Engineering and Interior Design, in socio-environmental themes: studies of urbanization in the Amazon biome, computational technologies for planning and design of the built environment (GIS and BIM), socio-environmental sustainability and urban geography. He is currently assistant professor I in the courses of Technology in Interior Design and bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, in the areas of Design and Planning of the Built Environment, Sustainability, Environmental Comfort and Graphic Expression. He is a researcher linked to the Laboratory of Urbanization and Urban Regulation Studies (LOTE-Unicamp).

Tem experiência na elaboração de planos diretores, docência no ensino técnico profissionalizante e magistério superior. Atua no ensino, pesquisa e extensão nas áreas de Arquitetura e Urbanismo, Geografia, Engenharia Civil e Design de Interiores, em temas socioambientais: estudos da urbanização no bioma Amazônia, tecnologias computacionais para o planejamento e projeto do ambiente construído (SIG e BIM), sustentabilidade socioambiental e geografia urbana. Atualmente é professor auxiliar I nos cursos de Tecnologia em Design de Interiores e bacharelado em Engenharia Civil, nas áreas de Projeto e Planejamento do Ambiente Construído, Sustentabilidade, Conforto Ambiental e Expressão Gráfica. É pesquisador vinculado ao Laboratório de Estudos de Urbanização e Regulação Urbana (LOTE-Unicamp).
