bachelor's at Geografia from Universidade de São Paulo (2006) and master's at Geosciences from Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (2009). Has experience in Geosciences, acting on the following subjects: sensoriamento remoto urbano, classificação de imagem, análise de imagens orientada a objeto, remote sensing and mineração de dados.
received his B.Sc. in geography from the University of Sao Paulo in 2006 and his M.Sc. in remote sensing from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE, Brazil) in 2009. Since 2011 he has been working toward his Ph.D. at the Department of Photogrammetry and RemoteSensing from the Technische Universitaet Muenchen (Munich, Germany). His main interests are on statistical and knowledge-based techniques for automatic land cover and land use classification based on high-resolution remote sensing imagery.
