Filipe Malafaia Cerqueira

Master in Letters from the Federal University of Sergipe (2014), with the dissertation of the course "Comics and Fables: other readings, new readers". Graduated in Letters - English from the Federal University of Sergipe (2011). Fellow student of the English Teacher Development Program (PDPI) in 2019, having been selected for the English Methodology modality, participating in a six-week specialization at Michigan State University in East Lansing, USA. English teacher since 1998, self-taught in the language. He is also a translator and interpreter. Regularly translates captions for series and films for paid channels, such as TNT and TCM, in addition to translating some religious books from English to Portuguese.

Mestre em Letras pela Universidade Federal de Sergipe (2014), tendo como dissertação de conclusão de curso "Quadrinhos e Fábulas: outras leituras, novos leitores". Possui graduação em Letras - Inglês pela Universidade Federal de Sergipe (2011). Aluno bolsista do Programa de Desenvolvimento de Professores de Inglês (PDPI) em 2019, tendo sido selecionado para a modalidade English Methodology, participando de uma especialização de seis semanas na Michigan State University em East Lansing, EUA. Professor de inglês desde 1998, é autodidata no idioma. É também tradutor e intérprete. Realiza traduções regulares de legendas de séries e filmes para canais pagos, como TNT e TCM, além de ter traduzido alguns livros de cunho religioso do inglês para português.
