Jhonatan Macedo Ribeiro

Bacharel em Biomedicina e Mestre em Microbiologia pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina, doutorando em Microbiologia pela mesma universidade no Laboratório de Bacteriologia Básica e Aplicada, sob a orientação do Professor Doutor Gerson Nakazato. Possui experiência na área de Microbiologia, com ênfase em bacteriologia e fagoterapia, especificamente na busca de antimicrobianos naturais e sintéticos e, isolamento e caracterização de bacteriófagos visando o tratamento de infecções por bactérias multirresistentes no ambiente veterinário e hospitalar. Co-fundador da startup PHAGEN, visando a aplicação de bacteriófagos na avicultura. Co-fundador da startup YMMUNO.

Bachelor of Biomedicine and Master of Microbiology from the State University of Londrina, PhD student in Microbiology from the same university at the Laboratory of Basic and Applied Bacteriology under the guidance of Professor Doctor Gerson Nakazato and graduating in Computer Degree from the same University. Technician in biogas research laboratory at Geo Energética Research Center. Has experience in Microbiology, with emphasis on bacteriology and phage therapy, specifically in the search for natural and synthetic antimicrobials, isolation and characterization of bacteriophages aiming at the treatment of infections by multidrug resistant bacteria in the poultry and hospital environment. Co-founder of startup PHAGEN, with the objetive of use bacteriophages on poultry farms. Co-founder of startup YMMUNO.
