Full Professor at the University of the State of Bahia (UNEB), in the Department of Life Sciences, linked to the Postgraduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences (PPGFARMA) and in the Multiprofessional Health Residency Program (PRMS). At graduation, she teaches subjects in the Basic Area: Biochemistry, Molecular Genetics and Research Methodology for the Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Nursing and Nutrition courses. Agricultural Engineer from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), Master in Genetics and Improvement from the Federal University of Viçosa, PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology in the area of Genetics of Microorganisms by UNICAMP. In research she works in the area of biochemistry and molecular biology of proteins and she has collaboration with the Federal University of Bahia in the area of Drug Planning and also with the State University of Santa Cruz-BA (UESC) in the area of molecular biology of the fungus Moniliophthora perniciosa.
Professora Titular e Pesquisadora da Universidade do Estado da Bahia (UNEB), da Área Básica do Departamento de Ciências da Vida, na Subárea de Bioquímica.. Engenheira Agrônoma pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV), Mestre em Genética e Melhoramento pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa, Doutora em Genética e Biologia Molecular na área de Genética de Microorganismos pela UNICAMP.. Atua na área de biologia molecular, bioquímica de proteínas, expressão gênica e genômica, genética da enxaqueca e de doenças humanas. Docente vinculada ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Farmacêuticas (PPGFARMA) e ao Programa de Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde (RMS).
