Felipe Rangel Martins

Doutor em Sociologia pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos, com estágio doutoral no Goldsmiths College - University of London e no Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (Cnam) - Paris. Possui mestrado em Sociologia pela UFSCar e graduação em Ciências Sociais pela mesma instituição. Atuou como International Fellow no Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) da Universidade de Chicago, com apoio da Urban Studies Foundation. Atualmente, é Pesquisador Visitante no Departamento de Sociologia da UFSCar. Pesquisa na interface entre Estudos Urbanos e Sociologia do Trabalho, com ênfase nos debates sobre informalidades, cultura do trabalho e economias populares urbanas.

PhD in Sociology from the Federal University of São Carlos, with a doctoral internship at Goldsmiths College - University of London and at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (Cnam) - Paris. Holds a master's degree in Sociology from UFSCar and a degree in Social Sciences from the same institution.He worked as an International Fellow at the Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) at the University of Chicago, with support from the Urban Studies Foundation. He is currently a Visiting Researcher at the Sociology Department of UFSCar. His research lies at the interface between Urban Studies and Sociology of Work, with emphasis on debates about informalities, labor culture, and urban popular economies.
