Maíra Sertã Mansur

Doutora pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Sociologia e Antropologia (PPGSA) da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Mestre em Sociologia e Antropologia (PPGSA/UFRJ) e Graduada em Ciências Sociais (UFRJ). Tem experiência na área de Sociologia, com ênfase em Sociologia Econômica e nos temas das corporações transnacionais (CTNs) e financeirização. Faz parte dos grupos de pesquisa Desenvolvimento, Trabalho e Ambiente (DTA/UFRJ) e Política, Economia, Mineração, Ambiente e Sociedade (PoEMAS).

I am a PhD candidate in the Graduate Program in Sociology and Anthropology (PPGSA), Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). I hold a MSc in Sociology and Anthropology (PPGSA/UFRJ) and a BSc in Social Sciences (UFRJ). My research focus is on Economic Sociology and on the topics of transnational corporations (TNCs) and financialization. I am a member of the International Network of People Affected by Vale (AIAAV). I am part of the research groups Development, Labor, and Environment (DTA/UFRJ), and Politics, Economy, Mining, Environment and Society (PoEMAS). I am also a member of the Editorial Committee of the journal Enfoques (PPGSA/UFRJ).
