Gabriela Junqueira Calazans

Graduada em Psicologia pela Universidade de São Paulo (1993), especialista em Saúde Coletiva pelo Departamento de Medicina Preventiva da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (1995), mestre em Psicologia (Psicologia Social) pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (2000) e doutora em Medicina Preventiva pela Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (2018). Atualmente, é pesquisadora do Laboratório de Investigação Médica 39 do Hospital das Clínicas / FMUSP no Departamento de Medicina Preventiva da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (FMUSP). Integra o Núcleo de Estudos para Prevenção da Aids da Universidade de São Paulo, NEPAIDS-USP. É pesquisadora associada no projeto temático ?Vulnerabilidades de jovens às IST/HIV e à violência entre parceiros: avaliação de intervenções psicossociais baseadas nos direitos humanos? e editora-associada do periódico Cadernos de Saúde Pública (desde 2021). Foi coordenadora de Educação Comunitária da Unidade de Pesquisas de Vacinas Anti-HIV de São Paulo, vinculada ao Centro de Referência e Treinamento em DST/Aids (CRT-DST/Aids) da Secretaria de Estado da Saúde de São Paulo (2004-2013). Foi professora no Depto. de Saúde Coletiva da Faculdade de Ciências Médicas da Santa Casa de São Paulo de 2010 a 2015. Co-coordenou o Projeto SampaCentro, estudo sobre a prevalência do HIV e fatores de risco associados entre Homens que fazem sexo com Homens, financiado pelo ?Programa Pesquisa para o SUS: gestão compartilhada em saúde? (PPSUS) 2009 - iniciativa conjunta da Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP), Secretaria da Saúde do Estado de São Paulo, Ministério da Saúde e Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq) (2009-2013). Participou de estudos sobre prevenção da aids e saúde do adolescente e do jovem financiados pela Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP), pelo Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq), Secretaria de Vigilância à Saúde do Ministério da Saúde (SVS/MS), pela Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS) e pelos Institutos Nacionais de Saúde dos Estados Unidos da América (NIH). Publicou Vulnerabilidade e Direitos Humanos - Prevenção e Promoção da Saúde - Livro II - Entre Indivíduos e Comunidade (Juruá); Prevenção das DST/AIDS em Adolescentes e Jovens: Brochuras de referência para os profissionais de saúde (SES/SP) e Youths on duty: Reception and care for adolescents and young people at testing and counselling centres (Kobe: WHO Center for Health Development), além de capítulos de livros e artigos em periódicos nacionais e estrangeiros. Os resultados dos estudos dos quais participou foram apresentados e publicados nacional e internacionalmente. Tem experiência na área de Saúde Coletiva, com ênfase em Saúde Pública e Saúde Sexual e Reprodutiva, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: prevenção das DST/Aids, promoção da saúde, saúde do adolescente e do jovem, sexualidade, gênero, saúde reprodutiva e saúde LGBT, direitos humanos e participação comunitária em pesquisas.

Graduated in Psychology from the University of São Paulo (1993), specialist in Collective Health from the Department of Preventive Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (1995), Master?s in Psychology (Social Psychology) from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (2000) and PhD in Preventive Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (2018). She is currently a researcher at the Medical Investigation Laboratory 39 at Hospital das Clínicas / FMUSP in the Department of Preventive Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP). She is a member of the Center for Studies on AIDS Prevention at the University of São Paulo, NEPAIDS-USP. She is an associate researcher in the thematic project ?Youth vulnerabilities to STIs/HIV and to dating violence: evaluating a human rights-based psychosocial intervention? and associate-editor of the journal Cadernos de Saúde Pública (since 2021). She was coordinator of Community Education at the HIV Vaccine Research Unit of São Paulo, linked to the STD/AIDS Reference and Training Center (CRT-DST/AIDS) of the São Paulo State Health Secretariat (2004-2013). She was a professor at the Dept. of Collective Health at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo from 2010 to 2015. Co-coordinated the SampaCentro Project, a study on the prevalence of HIV and associated risk factors among men who have sex with men, funded by the ?Research Program for SUS: shared management in health? (PPSUS) 2009 - joint initiative of the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), the São Paulo State Health Department, the Ministry of Health and the National Council for Scientific and Technological (CNPq) (2009-2013). She participated in studies on AIDS prevention and adolescent and youth health financed by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), the Health Surveillance Secretariat of the Ministry of (SVS/MS), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Institutes of Health of the United States of America (NIH). She published Vulnerability and Human Rights-Prevention and Health Promotion-Book II-Between Individuals and Community (Juruá); STD/AIDS Prevention in Adolescents and Young People: Reference Leaflets for Health Professionals (SES/SP) and Youth Service: Reception and care for adolescents and young people in testing and counseling centers (Kobe: WHO Center for Health Development), in addition to book chapters and articles in national and foreign newspapers. The results of the studies in which she took part were presented and published nationally and internationally. Has experience in Collective Health, with an emphasis on Public Health and Sexual and Reproductive Health, has worked mainly on the following topics: STD/AIDS prevention, health promotion, adolescent and youth health, sexuality, gender, reproductive health and health LGBT, human rights and community participation in research.
