Julia Sborz

Master in Civil Engineering by the Santa Catarina State University (UDESC) and Energy Engineer by the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). During three semesters of the undergraduate studies, Julia was granted a scholarship (Science without Borders program) to study Engineering Science in the University of Toronto, in Canadá. Also during the undergraduate degree, she was granted a scholarship to participate in the "Energy efficiency in industry: comparing Germany and Brazil" project. In the time of the exchange studies, she also integrated the Advanced Thermal/Fluid Optimization, Modelling and Simulation Laboratory (ATOMS lab) at the University of Toronto. The final internship for completing the undergraduate studies was in the Nacional Center for Research in Energy and Materiais (CNPEM). Nowadays, Julia works as an engineering analyst in the solar power plants development sector at Ecoa Energias Renovaveis.

Mestra em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (UDESC) e Engenheira de Energia pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). A graduação contou com período sanduíche no curso de Ciências da Engenharia com opção em Sistemas de Energia na Universidade de Toronto, no Canadá, possibilitado por uma bolsa de estudos do programa Ciência sem Fronteiras. Na graduação, foi bolsista de Iniciação Científica no tema de pesquisa "Eficiência Energética na indústria: um comparativo Brasil e Alemanha". Durante o intercâmbio, participou do Laboratório Advanced Thermal/Fluid Optimization, Modelling and Simulation (ATOMS). O estágio de graduação foi feito no Centro Nacional de Pesquisa em Energia e Materiais (CNPEM). Atualmente, trabalha como analista de engenharia no setor de desenvolvimento de usinas fotovoltaicas de solo na Ecoa Energias Renováveis.
