Dr. Andrade holds a degree in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Goiás (2004) and a PhD in Pharmaceuticals and Medicines from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (2010), with a sandwich doctorate internship in Medicinal and Computational Chemistry at the University of New Mexico (UNM). ), Albuquerque, USA. She is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Federal University of Goiás and leader of the LabMol Research Group - Drug Planning and Molecular Modeling Laboratory (www.labmol.com.br). She is a Collaborating Researcher at the Institute of Biology at UNICAMP. Her main contributions are concentrated in the area of Medicinal and Computational Chemistry and Computational Toxicology, with emphasis on the development of drug candidates for neglected tropical diseases and emerging viruses, as well as the development of of predictive in silico tools and platforms to evaluate toxicological properties of chemical compounds, as alternative methods to the use of animals. She was General Coordinator of the OpenZika worldwide project, in partnership with IBM and other Universities and institutions in Brazil and worldwide (http://openzika.ufg.br). She was treasurer of the Medicinal Chemistry Division of the Brazilian Chemical Society (SBQ, 2014-2016), deputy director (2016-2018) and is currently Director of this Division (2018-2020). She was Assistant Treasurer of the Brazilian Chemical Society (2020-2022). In 2014, she received the L'Oreal-UNESCO-ABC "For Women in Science" award in the field of Chemical Sciences. In 2015, he received the International Rising Talents award from the L'Oréal Foundation and UNESCO. He is an Affiliate Member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences. In 2021, she was elected a member of the Global Young Researchers Academy (GYA, Global Young Academy). Foi Tesoureira Adjunta da Sociedade Brasileira de Química (2020-2022). Em 2014 recebeu o prêmio "Para Mulheres na Ciência", da L'Oreal-UNESCO-ABC, na área de Ciências Químicas. Em 2015 recebeu o prêmio International Rising Talents, da Fundação L'Oréal e UNESCO. É Membro Afiliado da Academia Brasileira de Ciências. Em 2021 foi eleita membro da Academia Global de Jovens Pesquisadores (GYA, Global Young Academy).
