Nelson Soares de Rezende

Bacharel em Matemática pela Universidade de Brasília; Mestre em Engenharia de Sistemas e Computação pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (COPPE/UFRJ); e Pós-graduado (lato sensu) em gerência de redes e tecnologia de Internet pelo NCE/UFRJ. Foi Coordenador de Telecomunicações no IBGE por mais de 25 anos e professor universitário por mais de 10 anos nas áreas de Ciência da Computação, Redes de Computadores, Segurança de Internet e Sistemas Multimídia.Mediador de Conflitos profissional desde 2015: Mediador Judicial Sênior, certificado pelo Tribunal de Justiça do Rio de Janeiro (TJRJ); Mediador Empresarial Privado, qualificado pelo Centro Brasileiro de Mediação e Arbitragem (CBMA-2016) e certificado como mediador internacional pelo Instituto de Certificação e Formação de Mediadores Lusófonos (ICFML-2017); Participou do curso internacional de formação avançada em mediação privada, realizado na cidade do Porto pela Universidade Católica do Porto e ICFML (2018). Membro do Comitê Brasileiro de Arbitragem (CBAr) e dos Grupos de Estudo em Mediação Empresarial Privada (GEMEP/CBAr e CBMA). Atualmente é membro do painel de mediadores do TJRJ, de câmaras privadas de mediação do Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo e de plataformas online de resolução de disputas (ODR).Áreas de Interesse: Resolução extrajudicial de conflitos, nas áreas empresarial, cível e de família; Consultoria em Ciência da Computação.

Bachelor in Mathematics from the UnB, Master's Degree in Systems Engineering and Computing from COPPE/UFRJ and postgraduate (Lato sensu) in Network Management and Internet Technology by NCE/UFRJ. He worked as Telecommunications Coordinator at IBGE for more than 25 years and as a professor for more than 10 years in the areas of Computer Science, Computer Networks, Internet Security and Multimedia Systems.Professional Dispute Mediator since 2015: certified as a Senior Judicial Mediator by the State Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro (TJRJ); qualified as a Private Mediator by the Brazilian Center for Mediation and Arbitration (CBMA-2016) and certified as an International Mediator by the Institute for Certification and Training of Lusophone Mediators (ICFML-2017); Participated in the international advanced training course in private mediation, held in the city of Porto by the Catholic University of Porto and ICFML (2018). Member of the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (CBAr) and of Groups of Studies in Private Business Mediation (GEMEP/CBAr and CBMA). Currently works at TJRJ as a member of its panel of mediators; at private mediation chambers in Rio de Janeiro and also on Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platforms.Areas of Interest: Extrajudicial dispute resolution in the areas of business, civil and family issues; and Computer network consulting.
