Fernando Henrique Catani

Poet, visual artist and educator. He has been engaged in artistic and cultural activities since 1986. He has held numerous exhibitions of art and handicrafts in the state of São Paulo, collectives in Italy and art fairs in Asterdam, Netherlands. He has a degree in pedagogy from Unicamp (2004). He is a master in education (2011) by the Faculty of Education of Unicamp in the thematic area of ​​Education, Knowledge, Language and Art. He has experience in non-formal education, specifically in the organization and implementation of socio-educational measures in the face of risk and conflict with the law, with emphasis on aesthetic education projects. He has been involved in orientation and re-education for the recovery of drug and alcohol abuse for 19 years and directed the MundoArtista education space where he guides artists, educators, teachers and other professionals in the development of their cultural education. Currently he is dedicated to semiotics, in a research of what he calls Primitive Themes inherent to the poetic / aesthetic process of artistic creation, as well as the observation and criticism of artistic phenomena and the iconology of art.

Poeta, artista visual e educador. Dedica-se a atividades artísticas e culturais desde 1986. Realizou inúmeras exposições de obras artísticas e de artesanato no estado de São Paulo, coletivas na Itália e feiras de arte em Amsterdam, Holanda. Possui graduação em pedagogia pela Unicamp (2004). É mestre em educação (2011) pela Faculdade de Educação da Unicamp na área temática da Educação, Conhecimento, Linguagem e Arte. Tem experiência na área de educação não-formal, especificamente na organização e implementação de medidas sócio-educativas diante da situação de risco e conflito com a lei, com ênfase em projetos de educação estética. Atua há mais de 20 anos na orientação e reeducação para a recuperação do abuso de drogas e álcool e dirige o espaço de educação MundoArtista onde orienta artistas, educadores, professores e outros profissionais no desenvolvimento de sua formação filosófica e cultural. Atualmente dedica-se à semiótica, numa pesquisa do que chama de Temas Primitivos inerentes ao processo poético/estético da criação artística, assim como da observação e crítica de fenômenos artísticos e da iconologia da arte.
