João Marcelo Intini

I hold a degree in Agronomy Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1997) and a Master's Degree in Family Agriculture and Sustainable Development from the Federal University of Pará. I was a municipal manager and extensionist in the southern region of the State of Pará. I held different positions in the Ministries of Agrarian Development And Social Development, elaborating and implementing public policies for family farmers, agrarian reform and traditional peoples and communities. I was the Director of Agricultural Policy of the National Supply Company. i was served as technical advisor for rural and agricultural issues in the Chamber of Deputies and is currently an international employee of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, FAO.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Agronômica pela Universidade de São Paulo (1997) e Mestrado em Agriculturas Familiares e Desenvolvimento Sustentável, pela Universidade Federal do Pará. Foi gestor municipal e extensionista, na região Sul do Estado do Pará. Desempenhou diferentes funções nos Ministérios do Desenvolvimento Agrário e do Desenvolvimento Social, elaborando e implementando políticas públicas para a agricultura familiar, reforma agrária e povos e comunidades tradicionais. Exerceu a Diretoria de Política Agrícola da Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento. Atuou como assessor técnico para os temas rurais e agrícolas na Câmara dos Deputados e atualmente é funcionário internacional da Organização das Nações Unidas para Agricultura e Alimentação, FAO.
