Roberto Rolim Andres

Graduated (2005) and master's (2008) in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). He is currently a doctoral student (2018 - current) in Architecture and Urbanism at the University of São Paulo (USP). Since 2009 he has been a professor in the Architecture and Urbanism course at UFMG. He is editor of the magazine PISEAGRAMA, researcher of the Cosmópolis group (CNPQ), member of the Red de Innovación Politica de América Latina and reviewer of the Journal of Public Spaces. He is co-author of the book "A Natureza mora ao lado" (2012) and co-organizer of the books "Guia Morador" (2013), "Escavar o Futuro" (2014) and "Urbe Urge" (2018). For three years he was a columnist for the newspaper O Tempo, and collaborates with vehicles such as the Nexo portal and Piauí magazine. He was a researcher at the Centro Tecnológico de Minas Gerais Foundation and founding partner of the Maria Helena Andrés Institute.

Possui graduação (2005) e mestrado (2008) em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), e doutorado em Arquitetura e Urbanismo (2022) pela Universidade de São Paulo (USP). É professor do curso de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da UFMG, pesquisador do grupo Cosmópolis (CNPQ) e revisor do Journal of Public Spaces. É co-organizador dos livros "Guia Morador" (2013), "Escavar o Futuro" (2014) e "Urbe Urge" (2018). É colaborador da revista Piauí, e publica artigos em veículos como o portal Nexo e a revista 451. Foi um dos fundadores da revista Piseagrama, e co-editor entre 2011 e 2020. Foi, por três anos, colunista do jornal O Tempo. Foi pesquisador da Fundação Centro Tecnológico de Minas Gerais e sócio fundador do Instituto Maria Helena Andrés.
