Tiago Vinícius Fernandes

Pesquisador de Pos-Doutorado na Universidade Federal do Vale do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri. Doutor em Ecologia, Conservação e Manejo da Vida Silvestres pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, com período sanduíche na University of Liverpool - Inglaterra (CAPES/print). Mestre em Ecologia pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa. É graduado em licenciatura e bacharelado em Ciências Biológicas pela mesma universidade, com graduação sanduíche na University of Oklahoma (Ciências Sem Fronteiras- CAPES) e prêmio por mérito acadêmico pelo CRBio 4a região. Também é discente do curso de Pós-graduação Lato Sensu em Educação Profissional e Tecnológica do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Sudeste de Minas Gerais. Estagiou no laboratório de Ecologia Geral da Universidade Federal de Viçosa, no Ant Lab na University of Oklahoma (OK-EUA) e no National Museum of Natural History-Smithsonian Institute (D.C.-EUA). Possui interesse nas áreas de Zoologia, Ecologia e Entomologia, Educação Ambiental e Ensino de Ciências. Em seu projeto de doutorado busca entender o papel de grupos hiper-abundantes nos processos ecossistêmicos.

Postdoctoral researcher at the Federal University of Vale do Jequitinhonha and Mucuri. PhD in Ecology, Conservation and Management of Wild Life from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, with a sandwich period at the University of Liverpool - England (CAPES/print). Master in Ecology from the Federal University of Viçosa. He holds a bachelor's degree and a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the same university, with a sandwich degree at the University of Oklahoma (Ciências Sem Fronteiras - CAPES) and an award for academic merit by the CRBio 4th region. He is also a student of the Postgraduate Lato Sensu course in Professional and Technological Education at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Southeast Minas Gerais. He interned at the General Ecology laboratory at the Federal University of Viçosa, at the Ant Lab at the University of Oklahoma (OK-USA) and at the National Museum of Natural History-Smithsonian Institute (D.C.-USA). He is interested in the areas of Zoology, Ecology and Entomology, Environmental Education and Science Teaching. In his doctoral project, he seeks to understand the role of hyper-abundant groups in ecosystem processes.
