Bachelor in Biological Sciences and Master in Entomology from the Federal University of Viçosa, having studied for six months at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança - Portugal. PhD in Entomology from the Federal University of Lavras. This is the effective professor of the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais - IFMG Campus Bambuí.

Bacharel em Ciências Biológicas também pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa.
