Ana Paula Ribeiro de Araujo

Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1994), master's degree (1998) and doctorate (2012) in Architecture by PROARQ-FAU / UFRJ. Currently assistant associated I 40-DE at Department of Architecture and Urbanism of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro since 2006. Has professional experience in architecture projects and as a lecturer in the area of ​​Applied Informatics to Architecture Urbanism teaching the subjects of "Expression and Graphic Representation III" and "Applied Informatics to Architecture I and II". I am currently Vice-coordinator and member of the Structuring Teaching Nucleus of the Architecture and Urbanism Course of UFRRJ and president of the UFRRJ Evaluation Commission. I work as a permanent teacher of the PPGPACS-IM / IFRRJ Postgraduate Program, Cultural and Society Patrimony where I teach the disciplines "Digital technologies applied to the conservation of mobile and immovable heritage" and "The modeling of construction information as an auxiliary tool in the management of conservation project information. I integrate NUPAM - Nucleus of Heritage, Architecture and Memory Fluminense collaborating in the research lines "Conservation of buildings and urban areas", "Documentary research" and "Heritage Hermeneutics". I currently coordinate two research projects: "THE USE OF INFORMATION MODELING TECHNOLOGIES - BIM IN THE STUDY OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS AND ITS APPLICABILITY IN ARCHITECTURAL PROJECTS" with Professor Emilia Martins Ribeiro (DAU / UFRRJ) supported by UFRRJ and "Material and Immaterial Cultural Heritage Georeferenced mapping of Nova Iguaçu" I am a member of the research group GERAR-Research Group on Expression, Representation and Analysis of Architecture that aims to promote research on design, modeling and design in its developments in the processes of creation, coding and perception of architectural spaces having the form as vector of affirmation or transformation of cultural and aesthetic standards. I'm member of CIPA Heritage Documentation and Heritage Documentation of Icomos.

Atuo como professora permanente do Programa de Pós-graduação, Patrimônio Cultura e Sociedade PPGPACS-IM/IFRRJ onde leciono as disciplinas " Tecnologias digitais aplicadas à conservação do patrimônio móvel e imóvel" e "A modelagem da informação da construção como ferramenta auxiliar no gerenciamento das informações do projeto de conservação. Integro o NUPAM - Núcleo de Patrimônio, Arquitetura e Memória Fluminense colaborando nas linhas de pesquisa "Conservação de edificações e áreas urbanas", "Pesquisa documental" e "Hermenêutica do Patrimônio". Coordeno atualmente dois projetos de pesquisa: "O USO DAS TECNOLOGIAS DE MODELAGEM DAS INFORMAÇÕES - BIM NO ESTUDO DE MATERIAIS DE CONSTRUÇÃO E SUA APLICABILIDADE EM PROJETOS ARQUITETÔNICOS" e o "Mapeamento georreferenciado do patrimônio material e imaterial localizado em Nova Iguaçu. Sou integrante do Grupo de pesquisa GERAR-Grupo de Pesquisa em Expressão, Representação e Análise da Arquitetura que visa promover a realização de pesquisas sobre desenho, modelagem e projeto em seus desdobramentos nos processos de criação, codificação e percepção dos espaços arquitetônicos tendo a forma como vetor de afirmação ou transformação de padrões culturais e estéticos. Sou membro do CIPA Heritage Documentation e do Comitê de Documentação do Icomos.
