Anelisa Ramão

I graduated at Biological Sciences from University of the State of São Paulo- UNESP (2005), then I've accomplished my master's degree (2010) and Ph.D. degree (2014) in Cell and Molecular Biology and a post-doctorate in Genetics (2017) at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School - University of São Paulo (USP). Part of my PhD was developed at CUMC in NYC (NY-USA). Also, I had been working at the Lab of Genetics and Bioinformatics on the Blood Center Foundation in Ribeirão Preto as a researcher fellow from Technological and Industrial Development Program from CNPq, collaborating with research activities involved in the molecular biology of solid tumors and the search for new targets for anti-cancer therapy. I am currently a Collaborating Professor at the State University of the Midwest (UNICENTRO), teaching in the areas of Morphology and Genetics for the Biological Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy and Medicine courses; and a member of the Genomic Network of the Institute for Cancer Research (IPEC) in Guarapuava / PR. My expertise is on Cellular and Molecular Biology and Genetics, specially on the following themes: culturing of tumor cells, in vitro assays of cellular and molecular biology, confocal microscopy, analysis of gene expression, new generation sequencing, regulation by microRNAs and cancer.

Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Estadual Paulista - UNESP (2005), mestrado (2010) e doutorado (2014) em Biologia Celular e Molecular pela Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto (USP) e pós-doutorado em Genética (2017) pela mesma Instituição. Desenvolveu parte do trabalho de doutorado na Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC), na cidade de Nova Iorque (NY-EUA). Trabalhou como bolsista de Desenvolvimento Tecnológico e Industrial - DTI/CNPq no Laboratório de Genética Molecular e Bioinformática da Fundação Hemocentro de Ribeirão Preto, colaborando com as atividades de pesquisa envolvendo a biologia de tumores sólidos e busca de marcadores moleculares que pudessem atuar como alvos terapêuticos. Atualmente é Professora Colaboradora na Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste (UNICENTRO), lecionando nas áreas de Morfologia e Genética para os cursos de Ciências Biológicas, Enfermagem, Farmácia e Medicina e é membro da Rede Genômica do Instituto para Pesquisas em Câncer (IPEC) de Guarapuava/PR. Tem experiência nas áreas de Biologia Celular e Molecular e de Genética, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: cultivo de células tumorais, ensaios in vitro de biologia celular e molecular, microscopia confocal, análise da expressão gênica, sequenciamento de nova geração, regulação por microRNAs e câncer.
