ELIVALDO CARLOS MOREIRA DE OLIVEIRA

Master studies (345 hours completed) at the Graduate in Biodiversity and Conservation at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA) Graduate Program in Biological Sciences -. Degree from the State University of Maranhão (UEMA). Worked with Environmental Education, Public health and Phytosociology during graduation. Former teacher of Biology of Secondary Education from private education and Vocational Education. Conducted phytosociological survey of Maranhão Amazon in Gurupi Biological Reserve in the state of Maranhão. Currently develops floristic and phytosociological consultancy project is entitled "Restoration of riparian forests and soil quality on the banks of Pepital, Alcantara, Maranhao River".

É Graduado em Ciências Biológicas (UEMA), Especialista em Ensino de Genética (UEMA), Mestre em Biodiversidade e Conservação (UFMA), Doutor e Pós-Doutor em Agroecologia (UEMA). Ao longo de sua vida acadêmica realizou estudos Fitossociológicos na Amazônia e no Cerrado Maranhenses. Atualmente desenvolve pesquisas Etnobotânicas em Comunidades Quilombolas. Desta forma, a Fito e a Etno são as duas áreas de particular interesse.
