Wellton Costa de Oliveira

Wellton has been an adjunct professor of higher education at UTFPR (Francisco Beltrão campus) for 10 years. He is assigned to the Department of Informatics and works in the Degree in Informatics and Bachelor of Information Systems courses. He has worked in the disciplines of web development, multimedia, artificial intelligence, operating systems, among others. PhD in Computer Science from UFPR (grade 6 at CAPES), in the Computational Intelligence research line, working in the area of Affective Intelligent Tutoring Systems (EEG, brain-computer interface, facial recognition with Deep learning) for improvements in feedbacks. Master in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Informatics by UTFPR Curitiba. Specialist in Informatics in Education and Bachelor in Information Systems, both from UFPA Campus Santarém. He is interested in Free Software (GNU), Internet of Things, 3D printers, drones, pattern recognition, arduino, raspberry pi and non-clinical neuroscience applied to education.

Está lotado no Departamento de Informática e atua nos cursos de Licenciatura em Informática e Bacharelado em Sistemas de Informação. Já atuou nas disciplinas de desenvolvimento web, multimídia, inteligência artificial, sistemas operacionais, entre outras. Doutor em Ciência da Computação pela UFPR (conceito 6 na CAPES), na linha de pesquisa Inteligência Computacional, atuando na área de Sistemas Tutores Inteligente Afetivos (EEG, brain-computer interface, facial recognition com Deep learning) para melhorias em feedbacks. Mestre em Engenharia Elétrica e Informática Industrial pela UTFPR Curitiba. Especialista em Informática na Educação e Bacharel em Sistemas de Informação, ambas pela UFPA Campus Santarém. Tem interesse em Software Livre (GNU), Internet das coisas, impressoras 3D, drones, reconhecimento de padrões, arduino, raspberry pi e neurociência não-clínica aplicada à educação.
