Neuza Maria Santos Neves

Neuza Maria Santos Neves is a Chemical Engineer, MSc in Biochemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham (England) and PhD in Environmental Analytical Chemistry at the Federal University of Bahia. Holds the post of Consultant III of the Environmental Division of the National Service of Industrial Learning Department Regional Bahia - SENAI DR / BA, Since February 2011. She has experience in environmental consulting, developing, coordinating and executing projects, installation and operation of air monitoring networks; Atmospheric Emissions Inventory; mathematical modeling of pollutant dispersion in the atmosphere; planning and coordinating campaigns to monitor the air quality, experoence on Environmental Impact Studies and participation in Public Hearing for licensing of industrial enterprises. She worked for 17 years at CETREL - Environmental Protection Company of Camaçari petrochemical Complex; 6 years at ERM - Environmental Resources Management and 6 years at CEPED - Centre for Research and Development of Bahia State.She teaches several subjects at SENAI/CIMATEC both on graduate and post graduate courses. She also teaches short courses in Bachelor of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering, at Federal University of Bahia; in the course of Specialization in Environmental Management at the Catholic University of Salvador, and at the pos graduate course by the project CTA Centro de Tecnologias Ambientales Brazi, Peru and Germany, at SENATI - Servicio Nacional de Trabajo en Adestramiento Industrial, Lima (Peru), an institution that has a technical cooperation agreement with the Senai / CETIND.Lecturer of Senai, at the engeneering graduation courses and post - graduate corse on Environmental Solutions and Technologies, and at the technical training course on Environmental Management. She also prepares materials for virtual courses offered by SENAI regarding Air Quality. Lecturer at FAMEC - Metropolitan College of Camaçari at the undergraduate degree on Environmental Engineering.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Química pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (1980), mestrado em Biochemical Engineering - University of Birmingham (1986) e doutorado em Química Analítica Ambiental pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2009). Atualmente é profesor adjunto do SENAI - Departamento Regional da Bahia e professora da Faculdade Metropolitana de Camaçari. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Sanitária, com ênfase em Qualidade do Ar, e da água.Ministra várias disciplinas ligadas nos cursos de graduação em engenharia e pós graduação da Faculdade do SENAI/CIMATEC ; cursos de curta duração no curso de graduação de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental da Universidade Federal da Bahia; no curso de Especialização em Gerenciamento Ambiental da Universidade Católica de Salvador, e no curso de pós graduação pelo projeto CTA Centro de Tecnologias Ambientales Brasil, Peru e Alemanha, no SENATI - Servicio Nacional de Trabajo en Adestramiento Industrial, Lima (Peru), uma instituição que possui cooperação técnica com o Senai..
