MARIA DE FATIMA MOREIRA DO REGO LIMA

Maria Moreira trabalha com ideias de conflito não-oposicional, usa dispositivos como a deriva urbana, tomada como uma estratégia de escuta mas também de enunciação, incorpora várias outras ferramentas de acordo com a sua eficácia contextual, essa abertura espelhando uma investigação contínua do formato instalação, e seu espaço imersivo e poroso, como sendo uma pedagogia do lugar regido por intenções de partilha. Graduação em Arquitetura pela Universidade Santa Úrsula (1981]. Mestrado em Comunicação pela Escola de Comunicação da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Mestrado em Artes Visuais, pelo Goldsmiths College, University of London (1995). Doutorado em Artes Visuais pelo Central St Martins College of Art & Design, The University of the Arts London, (2004]. Lecionou, como professora visitante, de 2003 a 2006, no Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London, e de 2004 a 2006, no Reading College of Arts and Design, Thames Valley University; como professora assistente, de 2006 a 2014, na Universidade Candido Mendes. Desde 2015, é Professora Adjunta DE do Instituto de Artes da UERJ.

Maria Moreira works with ideas of non-oppositional conflict, uses devices such as the urban drift, taken as a strategy of listening but also of enunciation, and incorporates several other tools according to their contextual effectiveness, this opening mirroring a continuous investigation of the installation format and its immersive and porous space as being a pedagogy of place governed by intentions of sharing. Graduation at Arquitetura from Universidade Santa Úrsula (1981), master 's degree in Communication [ Cultural Studies} in Escola de Comunicação da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1987), master 's degree in Visual Arts from Goldsmiths College-University of London (1995) and doctorate in Visual Arts from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design-The University of the Arts London (2004). Teaching experience includes acting as visiting lecturer, from 2003 to 2006, at the Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London, and from 2004 to 2006 at the Reading College of Arts and Design, Thames Valley University. From 2006 to 2014, was assistant professor at Candido Mendes University and since 2015, is adjunct professor at the Institute of Arts, State University of Rio de Janeiro.
