Bachelor Degrees in Cartographic Engineering (2010, FCT-UNESP); MSc. in Cartographic Sciences (2013, PPGCC, FCT-UNESP, Research Supported by FAPESP); PhD. in Remote Sensing (2020, PPGSR, UFRGS). Professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU)/IG, Campus Monte Carmelo/MG (since Nov/2014). ---SCIENTIFIC PROFILE---: I have been working in the area of Geodesy, working mainly in the following specialties: estimation theory, reliability theory, quality control, artificial intelligence, computer simulation, geodetic networks, positioning by GNSS satellites, GNSS/Meteorology. In these activities, with only 22 articles on the Web of Science, I have obtained 110 citations and an h index = 6. In 2021, I received an Honorable Mention in the CAPES Thesis Award - 2021 Edition, in the area of GEOCIENCES, for the thesis AN EXTENSION TO THE THEORY OF RELIABILITY IN GEODESY. Meanwhile, I had the opportunity to integrated and still integrates research with scientists from Germany and Spain, as well as with Brazilian institutions (UFU, UFPR, IFSC, INPE, UNESP, UEM, IME, Unisinos/VizLab). My research group and I have always focused to develop novel methods and breakthrough within our areas of expertise, as can be seen in my contributions. --- CURRENT AND ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE --- I currently hold the president position of the Structuring Teaching Nucleus (NDE) of the Surveying and Cartographic Engineering (EAC) course at UFU. Acts as a Permanent member of the Graduate Program in Agriculture and Geospatial Information, at UFU, Campus Monte Carmelo/MG. I am also part of the editorial board of the following journals: Revista Brasileira de Cartografia (RBC) and Journal of Surveying Engineering (JSE). In addition to being a reviewer for several important journals within my area of #8203;#8203;expertise. Since 2017, I have been working with an extension project with the goal of publicizing the EAC/UFU course, together with PET-EAC/CAPES.

Tem concentrado esforços no desenvolvimento de novos métodos e avanços nas áreas de sua especialização, como pode ser visto em suas contribuições. --- EXPERIÊNCIA ADMINISTRATIVA --- Atualmente, é presidente do Núcleo Docente Estruturante (NDE) do curso de Engenharia de Agrimensura e Cartográfica (EAC) da UFU. Atua como docente permanente e membro do colegiado do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Agricultura e Informações Geoespaciais, da UFU, Campus Monte Carmelo/MG. Também atua como membro de corpo editorial dos seguintes periódicos: Revista Brasileira de Cartografia (RBC) e Journal of Surveying Engineering (JSE). Além de ser revisor de diversos periódicos importantes dentro de sua área de atuação. Tem trabalhado em conteúdos sobre Redação Científica em projetos de ensino e extensão. Desde 2017, atua com projeto de extensão com o objetivo de divulgar o curso EAC/UFU, junto ao PET-EAC/CAPES.
