Marcos Tadeu Silva

He is a Ph.D. Student in Computing Science in the Informatics Department at Pontifical University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). He is a collaborator of the OPUS Research Group and his interests are mostly in Software Evolution, Software Metrics, Software Product Lines and Aspect-Oriented Software Development. Before coming to PUC-Rio, he had a M.Sc. at Pontifical University of Porto Alegre (PUCRS) where he researched about Software Development Process Models and Artifacts Structure Definition and Behavior. His Master Thesis has focused on industrial and academic researches, given the two distinct projects at Dell-PUCRS and Quantiza Systems. He had under-graduated in the Computing Institute at Federal University of Alagoas, where he had his first contact in scientific researches.

Possui graduação em Ciência da Computação pela Universidade Federal de Alagoas (2007) e mestrado em Ciência da Computação pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (2008). Atualmente é analista de sistemas da Companhia Estadual de Distribuicão de Energia Eletrica. Tem experiência na área de Ciência da Computação, com ênfase em Engenharia de Software, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: spem, uml, artefatos de software, processos de software e software artifacts.
