I did my Bachelor degree at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro/Observatorio do Valongo. During my undergraduation, I developed a senior thesis about Solar Twin Stars in the Solar Evolutionary Track, under the supervision of Prof. Gustavo Porto de Mello.
I got my Master of Science in Astronomy at the Universidade de São Paulo/Instituto de Astronomia, Geofísica e Ciências Atmosféricas under the supervision of Prof. Walter Junqueira Maciel. My master thesis was about Age Determinations of Planetary Nebula Central Stars (you can read it here).
I did my PhD in Astronomy at the Università degli Studi de Padova/Dipartimento di Astronomia e Fisica Galileo Galilei and INAF/Osservatorio Astronomico di Padova supported by the Brazilian program Ciência sem Fronteiras/CNPq. I developed a project about stellar properties, distances, and extinctions of red giant stars in the APOGEE and Kepler surveys under supervision of Dr. Léo Girardi and Prof. Paola Marigo. My Phd thesis is published at PaDUA@research.
I also had a postdoctoral position at the Osservatorio Astronomico di Padova under supervision of Dr. Léo Girardi. I implemented the PARAM code - the Bayesian estimation of stellar parameters, developed during my PhD, in the web interface http://stev.oapd.inaf.it/cgi-bin/param.
You can find all my publications here and my Research Gate profile is Thaíse S. Rodrigues.
