Carlos Eduardo Simão

Graduated in Environmental Engineering Simão is more than 10 years experienced in planning, collecting, processing and interpretation data for numerical model construction/calibration. During the last years, he has been involved in many coastal model implementations, focused in hydrodynamic and water quality process. Also he has been involved in many other projects related to numerical modeling such as oil spill modeling, outfall plumes simulations and flushing studies for ports and sanitation stations. Recently the company that?s he gives support as consultant are developing a very extensive project related to sanitation area. In this project hi is responsible for apply modeling and GIS techniques to determine hold capacity off coastal areas for receive outfall loads. Also his tasks include data collection (Bathymetry, Water samples), modeling projects, hydrodynamics (2D and 3D) and water quality (Delft3D)..

Possui graduação em Engenharia Ambiental - Faculdades Oswaldo Cruz, Mestrado em Engenharia Oceânica pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande . Atualmente atua como consultor em Engenharia Ambiental - Gestor de Projeto. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Ambiental, com ênfase em controle ambiental, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: meio ambiente, modelagem, qualidade de água, hidrodinâmica, monitoramento ambiental, engenharia costeira.
