Maíra Guimarães Kersul

Bolsista CAPES do Programa de Pós-Graduação de Ciência Animal da Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (UESC) com ênfase em Epidemiologia. Graduada em Medicina Veterinária na UESC, foi Bolsista de Iniciação Científica pelo CNPq durante 2015-2016 e pela FAPESB durante 2016-2018. Participou do programa Ciência sem Fronteiras onde cursou Bioveterinary Science na University of Lincoln, Inglaterra, em 2014 e possui o certificado de proficiência em inglês pelo First Certificate in English pela Cambridge University, pelo IELTS 2013 (International English Language Testing System) e TOEFL ITP 2016 e 2018(Institutional Testing program). Fez parte do Grupo de Pesquisas Cultivos Tropicais e Agroindústria enquanto cursava Agronomia no mesmo instituto, fez parte do Grupo de Pesquisa Coleção de Mamíferos Alexandre Rodrigues Ferreira e atualmente integra o Grupo de Estudos de Animais Silvestres da UESC (GEAS Cabruca), o Núcleo de Atendimento e Pesquisa de Animais Silvestres da UESC (NAPAS) e o Laboratório de Reprodução Animal da UESC (LARA-UESC).

CAPES Intership researcher of Animal Science Postgraduation Program of Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (UESC) with an emphasis in Epidemiology. Graduated in Veterinary Medicine in UESC, having a research internship by CNPq during 2015-2016 and by FAPESB during 2016-2018. She also made part of the government program Science Without Borders which she studied Bioveterinary Science in the University of Lincoln, England, in 2014 and has a certificate of proficiency in English by the First Certificate in English by Cambridge University, IELTS (2013) and TOEFL ITP 2016 and 2018. She was part of the research group Grupo de Pesquisas Cultivos Tropicais e Agroindústria while she coursed Agronomy in the same institute (2010-2012) and integrated the Research Group of Alexandre Rodrigues Ferreira Mammal's Collection. Nowadays she is part of the Group Wild Animal Studies, Wild Animals Research and Care Group, and Animal Reproduction Laboratory.
